About Camp Haven
Camp Haven is a family-centered camp for children with disabilities and their families, held at Gulf State Park. It is a place of rest, joy, and belonging—where children are encouraged to try new things in a safe, supportive environment, and families are welcomed exactly as they are.
At Camp Haven, we believe every child deserves opportunities to explore, play, and grow, and every family deserves community. Throughout the week, campers and their families experience the beauty of God’s creation together through activities like beach time, pool and lake adventures, paddle boarding, crafts, live animal encounters, and more. All activities are adapted and inclusive, allowing each child to participate at their own pace and ability level.
Just as important as the activities is the connection. Camp Haven brings families together with others who truly understand their journey—creating space for shared experiences, encouragement, and lasting friendships. Each day also includes opportunities for Bible study and worship, grounding the camp in faith, hope, and love.
The average cost of Camp Haven is $500 per person. We are committed to making camp as accessible as possible and host multiple fundraisers throughout the year to help offset costs for families, with the ultimate goal of offering Camp Haven at no cost. While fundraising opportunities are available and encouraged, families are responsible for the full cost of camp if funds are not fully raised.
Camp Haven is more than a camp—it’s a community where kids can shine, families can breathe, and everyone is reminded they are not alone.
